I've come to love the customization possible via JP1 in the cheap RS remotes. Are there other users here that find they have more universal remotes than OEM remotes? Is it just that sense of accomplishment of having this powerful "tool" that, once programmed, can control everything in the room?
An across the board thanks to the Remote Central community for all this great info.

Are you an X-10 user as well? X-10 is probably even more addictive if you get into it.

Before JP1 my wife bought me a "remote caddy" to hold my half dozen or so OEM remotes, but since JP1 I now have just one remote on the coffee table. Unfortunately, I now have a hundred or so universals in the basement! Help, they're taking over!!! :)
