I have a one for all remote# URC-4700B00 and I am trying to program it to a Curtis Mathes tv, and a Gold Star vcr. I have tried all of the codes in the book, changed the batteries, and tried blinking back the code. I am not getting anything except more confussion. Can anyone help please??? In addition to the codes in the book, I've tried the codes that were shown when I tried blinking back the code. Here are the codes that it blinked:
tv -- 0047
vcr -- 0060
Thank you--Sherry

Blinking back the code is only useful after you've successfully used the code search process to find a code that operates your device.

If you correctly tested the codes listed in the book, there is probably no built-in code for your devices.

The codes for Curtis Mathes TVs are 0030, 0039, 0060, 0154. I don't know which code to recommend out of those.

The codes for Goldstar VCRs are 0018, 0037, 0038 (I recommend the 0037 code).

This is a response to Rob...I've tried the codes for the One for all. I have the manual. The control still won't set up. Should I just get another type of control? I read a reply of yours before that sounded like you know what you're talking about and it had the same link on there, so I've already looked it up. For some reason this control isn't programming to this tv or vcr. The codes on hifi-remote are the same in the manual. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this thread. Try the codes listed under Emerson or Wards.
