That looks like a complete rip off to me. It appears that they are able to program these remotes to send a series of signals once only, then the remote is useless.

I just did a quick Google and here's a page that tells you how to do it yourself:

If the info on this page is correct, you can do this hack yourself using any OFA or RS remote with the DVD/0533 code. Here are the advanced codes for the five buttons mentioned in that thread...

1: 189
2: 255
3: 095
4: 221
5: 079
