What is the difference between these OFA remotes other than the 8090 being IR/RF? Are they both upgradeable? Thanks

My dad and I have both of these remotes. They is no difference other than IR/RF. They are also upgradable. I needed more codes to run some new equipment so I sent to All For One and they sent me a new remote with all the new codes loaded. I had it back in 3 days. I recommend this remote highly. Great buy for the money.
