OK, I've looked all over this site, all over the JP1 group, and I can't find the discrete codes I'm looking for. I'm guessing my television doesn't support what I'm trying to do, maybe someone can tell me.

I have a Phillips Magnavox TP2785CI television, and I'm using a RS 15-2116 remote control. I'm looking for discrete codes to change the inputs. I'd like to build macros that change the TV to the right input and set the receiver for the best audio playback for my inputs (Sat/DVD, VHS, and Tuner).

I'm current using TV code 0054, but the discrete codes for the input don't do anything. Well, actually one does step through the inputs, but I can't find a direct. TV code 1254 is also listed as being able to work with my TV, but (thanks to JP1), I tried all codes from 1 to 255 with no luck.

Am I fighting a losing battle? Does my TV not support discrete input codes? Anyone have other ideas I can try?

Thanks
SamG

You might have better luck posting this question on the discrete hunter forum of this site. Also I would sugest contecting Magnavox technical support. I don't have the contact information available at the moment, as I have no magnavox product manuals at my imidiate availability.

www.hifi-remote.com has the discrete codes, but IIRC they were only recently added to high-end stuff, and virtually all Philips-Magnavox equipment I have worked with does not have the codes. If you've tried all the advanced codes already, you're probably out of luck.
