Howdy,
Does anyone know if it's possible to copy all of a 15-1994's codes and learned functions onto another 15-1994?
I've been happily using one of these for years now and just picked up another one. I would be so happy if I didn't have re-program every button individually into the new one. Please tell me there's an easy magical technique that copy everything over! :)
thanks Acksull

download the codes through jp1 to ir and then upload them through jp1 to the new remote. sounds like it should take about one minute for both steps.

Given the way Acksull asked the question, one would assume he has no idea what irving6744 means by "jp1".
Acksull, start at Rob's page
it has links to JP1 information, including the Yahoo JP1 group and how to build a JP1 cable and three or four of the vendors for pre built JP1 cables.
Transferring all the codes and learned functions from one 1994 is the simplest JP1 operation (you can do much more with it to customize your 1994's).

And if you want to go the jp1 route (which I highly recommend) but you are a bit intimidated about building the jp1 cable (or just don't want to waste your time doing it), you can buy one for $18 from BlueDo (one of the sponsors of this site).
