I picked up an OFA URC-6012w to do a few discrete codes to be able to learn back to my Sony RM-AV3000. I was able to program into it my DVD Player(Panasonic) discrete on and discrete off and assign them to buttons on the OFA. However... I have a Pioneer A/V Receiver and when I test the codes ... setup - 994 - 208(power on) or 204(power off) it works fine. But when I try to actually assign(program) the code to a button on the OFA its like it doesn't take or something. It gives me the two blinks and acts like its taking. But its a no go when you try to use it. I know I have the sequence down because I got the Panasonic DVD player to take a button program sequence with no problem .... Any Clues I'm stumped ?

If you're using setup code RCVR1023, it doesn't accept advanced codes. What you need is AMP0013, which I believe isn't in the 6012. Teach the AV-3000 the command from the test, since it works.

Thanks ... Yeah I was using 1023 for the device setup. I had to pull my brain out of my backside and realize that I had to get my av3000 almost ready to where i only pumped the 208/204 portion of the OFA when i had the button in ready mode ... You Da Man !
