I just got a new 8811 to learn some discretes with (in order to pass on to my MX-500) and was hoping people could help me find discretes for the foolowing devies -- I'm only looking for on/off, and for the TV a discrete for the different inputs (S-video &vhs).

I'm hoping someone can help before I just try all 255 possible advance codes - but please don't point me to hifi-remote.com, I've already checked out things there. Thanks in advance!

Pioneer receiver VSX D-711 (device code 1023 works for this, but can't find advanced codes (because the code is over 1000?, But I can't find any other device codes that work)

Pioneer DVD player DV-341 (device codes 0525 and 0571)

Sony CD Player CDP-C315 (very old - can't find a device code that works for this, the OEM remote is TOAD)

Panasoniuc VCR PV-945H (device codes 0162, 1062, 1162, 1262, and 1362)

Philips Magnavox TV TS3254C101 (device codes 0054 and 1254)

Scientific Atlanta Cable Box (0477 and 0877 work, but is it true there are no discretes for power on SA boxes?)

Thanks again to anyone who can help.

Forget the Magnavox TV, it only uses a toggle code.

Most of the others are combo codes, and doing efc searches isn't gonna work. You *Mite* have some luck with the sub 1000 ones, but no guarantee. MOST mfr's use toggle power codes. If you didn't find much (looks like you didn't find squat) for discretes at Rob's site, check for each of your devices in the pronto section here, and see if any of your discretes are listed. I'm not gonna, you've got too dang many listed, besides you're the one that wants them so you should do the leg-work, I'll just point you to where to look for possible help. Don't get your hopes up too high, I'd guess IF you're lucky you *mite* find 25%. Also check the "Discretes" forum here.
