Does anyone if there are discrete codes for the ExpressVu 4700 or 3100? These are the same as a couple of the DishNetwork receivers but I don't know the model numbers.

Dish network receivers have discrete codes because of a recent upgrade, which the ExpressVu receivers didn't get, until they do, you're out of luck.

Unless.....you mean the power on or off....now that I think about it the on or off codes were the only ones that I could not get to work I could only get the power toggle to work. I assumed I was just out of memory as I tried them last.

Yes, that's what the original poster was after, discrete on & off commands.

Yeah...I'm looking for the discrete on & off codes...if there are any. I've got all the other buttons working but would like discrete on & off for macros.

Wilk1, you're out of luck, at least for now. I spent a lot of time trying to get the new discretes to work with my Evu 5100, and it simply doesn't work yet. If the 5100 doesn't have it, it's unlikely the 3100 has it and virtually impossible that the older 4700 will have it.

I'd suggest doing what I did - sending an email to Evu and asking for this to be added to the software. If enough people ask for it, they may make it a higher priority item.

I had a feeling there wouldn't be any discrete codes. I'll email Evu and ask for the feature. Not holding my breath though. They're very slow to add new features or new hardware.
