I have the Kameleon, and I have a few questions.

I have reassigned mode keys so the SAT is a vcr key, and I have my replay on thet key. It works fine, except my volume doesnt control, even when trying a punch through with the AUD. It says int he manual volume punch through wont work with reassigned keys. How else can I get the volume to control when int he SAT mode, without having to switch to AUD. Learning the VOL + and - keys doesnt seem to work. (Punch through works in all modes except VCR and SAT.)

Also, I have a Philips reciever, and I am trying to record a macro to change the input. However, ont he original remote, you had to hold down the input key to change. In macro programming, it says that it wont work if you had to hold down the key. Any way to get around this?

Make sense?

I had the same problem with setting the CD key to DirecTivo Unit 2. I ended up mapping the AUD Vol+, - and mute keys for the DirecTivo2 (CD) key. Vol Punch thru worked for all other modes. No problem at all using IR to keep it simple.

Also, since I wanted to control the TV volume sometimes, but the AUD amp most of the time, I used the AUD for VPT and mapped shift-VOL/+/-/Mute to the TV. A little confusion at first but the remote does what it was intended to now.

Keymove, one-at-time, the vol +, vol -,and the mute, from AUD to the SAT device.
