As you may know I tried with no luck to get my urc-6800 to control my dishplayer {i took the urc-6800 back}. My dishplayer manual clearly states the remote is IR. It performs like a IR remote not like a RF remote, but how can i be sure? The reason i would like a urc is so i can control the volume on my dolby digital amp and control the features on my dishplayer with 1 remote{ is that too much to ask lol}. ANY ideas....thanks

Pick up a urc 7800 Cinema 7 (it has more learning memory). I own a dishplayer and have concluded that C7 is the best way to go.
