I have a 15-2116 which I have been able to program thru JP1 to do almost everything I want. One thing I would like to change is the amount of time the backlight stays on - it's too short!! I know lengthening the time will impact battery life, but I'm willing to sacrifice battery life for more backlight time. Is there any way to do this?

I think manipulating the backlight (or the LCD text) requires what's called an "extender," and nobody's written one yet for the 2116. Join Yahoo's JP1 group and you'll be the first to knowwhen somebody does....
