Jim. Thanks for your informative and nonjudgmental reply. I plan to try and get into jp1. The main reason I didn't before is that I did not have a computer at home until last month. I think I have every discrete code that I need for my systems, but it will be interesting to discover new ones. And you are right about the manufacturers. As I have said several times before, if UEIC can put discrete codes in even their lowest price remotes, other manufacturers shoud be able to also. The jp1 site looks like a condensation of War and Peace, but I am going to wade through it, and then tackle the Yahoo site. Thanks again for your encouragement.

After being e-mailed about it I have finally added the Video 7 code to my site. Unfortunately you definitely cannot get it without JP1.
