Has anyone received the 1900 code from a USA CSR ?
I have a Sony T60 Tivo and a Sony HD100 in the same room and I am trying to control them seperatly. Is this possible with the new 1900 code. I called CSR put she told me they dont have that code.

1900 is a code for DVR sets (TIVO)

How does that code differ from the standard VCR/0618 code?

I'm not aware of UEI having created any codes with the TiVo unit code built in, so the only way (thatI know of) to control multiple TiVos in the same location is to program the remote using JP1.

What remote are you using anyway, I thought the "1900" in your first post was a remote.

I think the 1900 is just for the UK at this time.

Also what is JP1?
I am very new to all this.

So the 1900 code, first its only for Thomson tivos which aren't sold here. And second it's just a Tivo code under the satellite device, instead of VCR.

Craig, you can change the remote address of the T60 so it won't interfere with the HD100. But there won't be a code for it in a OFA/RS remote. You could use code SAT0639 for the HD100, then teach 20-30 commands from he T60 to a OFA preprogrammed/learning remote like the 8910 or 9910.

I have tried that and the HD100 takes any learnd codes from the T60 remote channel 1-3.

This seems like exactly the sort of situation for which the new WAV file tool in the JP1 group was intended. I just don't know enough of the details of what you're trying to do to describe the details.

I understand you want to use a "T60" with a different unit code. I assume that uses a protocol for which KM can handle unit codes. I don't know if the whole upgrade you want already exists in our devices folder or just would be easy to create with KM.

After the upgrade is pasted into IR.EXE, the new WAV file tool could be used to convert either the whole eeprom image or just the upgrade area to a WAV file for the RS Kameleon.

If you had changed the remote address on the T60, the right way, then this shouldn't happen. So lets go through the steps;

On the T60
1. Go to the DIRECTV MENU
2. Choose MESSAGES & SETUP
3. Then SYSTEM INFORMATION
4. Scroll down until you see REMOTE ADDRESS
5. While pointing the remote away from the receiver, press and hold TIVO & PAUSE until the red light goes on
6. While pointing the remote towards the receiver, press 2 or 3, which changes the remote
7. Now to change the receiver, hit the right cursor arrow, the remote address on screen should change.
