Does anyone have the device code for an Acoustic Energy AEGOP5 Surround Sound system?

I've asked AE but they don't know it. They said if I find out to please let them know!

OFA have never heard of Acoustic Energy.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can always send in your remote to UEI to capture and they'll add the new code to your UEI remote. I have a contact over there, let me know if this sounds like something you'd like to do.

Take Mr C7 up on his offer, UEI loves it when people send them remotes for stuff they've not seen before because they get to add the code to their database and in return they will also program an upgrade into your remote.

Acoustic Energy have finally agreed to send one of their remotes to OFA.
I didn't want to send mine because OFA said it would take about 8 weeks and, without a remote, all I can do with my surround-sound system is switch it on and off!!!

Would your contact be able to speed things up a bit? If so, then I'd be interested in any details you could let me have.
Regards, David.

If you use JP-1, you could possibly capture the oem remote and send the IR dump to ueic and get it done faster, and all online.

I'd do a 981 reset, capture all you can, save, capture the rest, and send how ever many dumps it takes to get them all. also include a list of what functions were captured where.

Jim

But then if you used JP-1, you could have made your own and not messed with ueic.

My contact assures that it will be 1 week average, two weeks maximum from the day they receive the remote. Email me at [email protected] for more details.
