My Producer 8 remote has no idea how to manage my Cyber Home DVD player.

Contact OFA and see if they have a coe they can add, which will mean sending the remote back to them. Or, get into JP1 and add the code yourself. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com

who is ofa. what is jp1? I tried manually running through 300 codes and got nothing.

OFA is the brand name of the Producer 8, it's short for "One For All". JP1 is the home brewed process whereby you can add codes yourself. More info at [Link: hifi-remote.com]Rob

One for All used to be found at a site belonging to Hudson something or other ( www.hudsonag.com). I found it last month. When I attempted to go back there, they were gone.
