I've found (on hifi-remote.com) the advanced codes to switch directly to Full and Theatre Wide 1 modes in the new RPTV Toshibas, oddly enough, no codes for TW2 or TW3 (maybe b/c no one bothered to look for them!).

Are their any advanced codes to switch directly to various inputs without having to scroll through them? I know I can do them with a Macro but would rather not if I don't have to. E.g. Inputs 0 through 7? I didn't seem to see these on the site.

I'm using a 15-2104.

Thanks!

I thought Toshiba had direct input selection....
Or is that only on the xx72/xx82 models?

I've got the HDX82, and I'm pretty sure you've got to scroll through the inputs using the Input button (or hit input, then a number from 1 to 7).

With the 82 series sets, does hitting the input button re-config the remote to send a discrete input code upon a number press next?
Or does it tell the tv to watch for the next press?

This will decide whether the tv can receive and process discrete codes.

I've never even seen an HDX82, but I'm certain the TV not the remote makes the connection between the input key and the following digit.

For practical macros, it doesn't matter that much. The value of a discrete is in writing macros that don't need to know the prior state. If you can do input select in two macro steps not knowing the prior state, that's not much worse than doing it in one step. I wisk MY Toshiba TV could do so well.
