I'm using the RS 15-2133 and like it pretty well except for one thing. I have a Marantz SR-19 reciever and I'm using code 1189, all the bacic stuff works okay but I need the advanced codes for switching inputs such as DSS, DVD, TV, VCR, etc... The reason I can't use the learn function is to switch between these with the original remote (rc2000mkII) you have to hit these buttons twice to change to these modes...Any Ideas?
Thanks for any help

Tuner/1189 uses 2-byte hex commands, so you can't use advanced codes without JP1.
I'm not sure I understand your issue about pressing the button twice and how that would relate to the choice of learned signals vs. advanced codes.
I believe Tuner/1189 is a combination of two forms of the RC-5 protocol. All the signals have toggle bits. The toggle bit in a learned signal doesn't toggle. Is that the issue?
If you want to expend lots of your eeprom space, you could learn both states of the toggle to two different shifted keys, then define a macro that presses both shifted keys to match hitting the original remote button twice.
I don't know enough about this protocol to guess whether there is any better non JP1 solution. With JP1, there are much better solutions.
