I've been having difficulty programming advanced codes into my 8810w.

The codes test properly, but when I try to program them the code does not work. Does the Yamaha 0176 use 2-bit codes? Is programming the codes different on the 8810w than it was on the Cinema 6?

I haven't got JP1 yet. I'm trying to locate the parts locally but have not had luck so far. My next best attempt would be find them through ElectroSonic out of Toronto but I haven't been able to track down the part numbers yet.

I'm also out of learning memory.

Is 0176 your setup code?

Audio/0176 in the Cinema6 is the same as Audio/0176 in the 8810w. Neither uses 2-byte commands and both support the same advanced codes via EFC.

If it didn't work via 994 command, my first guess is that your key move memory is also full.
