I have a problem I have tried my jp1 cable with my old producer 8 8800 but with my new 9910 i keep getting a error checksum or reading 1 even on output if anyone can help please do.

It worked with your 8800? Did you try with and without the batteries? Double checked the orientation of your interface? Probably a voltage issue. I had a similar problem with my 8080 and 8910.
