I have the URC 6012 remote which worked well until I changed my receiver from a Yamaha to a Rotel 1055. I got some codes by email from Univeral Electronics Inc. (Audio Amp/Tuners -- : Rotel 0007, 0726, 0852) which do not work.
Do I have to give up making this remote work for my Rotel? I also have another OneForAll Big Easy HT (URC 5600) that I would like to program for my Rotel receiver.

You could send the remote back to UEI and they will add the code for you. In the process they will also solder in an EEPROM chip making the remote JP1 compatible. Rob http;// www.hifi-remote.com

How does one go about sending the remote in to UEI? They did not suggest that I could do this in their email response to me.
Thanks,
Mark
