I believe there already is a DP300 protocol for the KM worksheet but in case anyone is interested:
The Norcent DP300 DVD player (and clones KiSense DP-300, Lennox DVD-500 (in Australia), Electrohome EH-8160, Citizen JDVD3830 and Durabrand DP305 (in Germany)) doesn't respond to many pre-programmed DVD codes in universal remotes. In fact, the only one I've found that gets any response from the DP300 is the Konka 0719 code in the OneForAll URC-8811.
The keys are scrambled using 0719 but using advanced codes you can gain control of the player. Normally you'd want to use JP1 and the existing protocol with this remote but for anyone who's not ready for JP1 or has run out of learning memory, the following might help.
I punched in all 256 possibilities for 0719 and here are the results:
037 ZOOM 038 5 039 SUBTITLE 040 2 041 N/P 042 8 043 LANGUAGE 052 ZOOM 053 10+ 054 FWD (>>) 055 MENU/BROWSE 056 STEP 057 Down arrow v 058 REV (<<) 059 SETUP 085 ZOOM 086 5 087 SUBTITLE 088 2 089 N/P 090 8 091 LANGUAGE 105 PROG (Pretty sure of this but didn't verify) 107 DISPLAY 116 NEXT (>>I) 117 ANGLE 118 OPEN/CLOSE 119 STANDBY 120 MUTE 121 Right arrow -> 122 STOP 123 PBC 153 ? 155 DISPLAY 165 PLAY 166 6 167 4 168 3 169 1 170 9 171 7 180 SLOW 181 0 182 PBC 183 A-B 185 Up arrow ^ 186 PAUSE 187 TITLE/RETURN 213 PLAY 214 6 215 4 216 3 217 1 218 9 219 7 244 PREV (I<<) 245 TIME (GO TO) 246 VOL - 247 RESUME (Pretty sure of this but didn't verify) 248 L/R (Audio) 249 Left arrow <- 250 VOL + 251 REPEAT
(When there's a duplicate code you can choose just one, of course.)
Hope this can help someone with a URC-8811 or URC-8810W or other OneForAll/RS that has 0719.
Bob

People with older remotes can use these codes too, as the CBL/0040, CBL/0303 and TV/0279 codes use the same signal. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com

Hey, Rob, thanks so much for the other compatible device codes! 0040 does work for my old URC-7201! I did use the "code search" for TV and VCR but like a dummy gave up and didn't try Cable converter!
As usual, thanks again!
Have a great New Year, everyone.
