Does anybody know if there are discrete on/off advanced codes for Sylvania TV sets using the 0054 code? The only advanced codes I've found for this TV have been listed under Magnavox (had the same 0054 code).

Thanks,
Mark

Eh... well, if they aren't listed they probably don't exist.

Set your remote to the TV device mode.

For the 3 digits 000 to 255...
- aim the remote at your TV.
- press the SETUP (or whatever the magic button is) then the three digits.
- If your TV turns ON, then press the same SETUP + 3 digit sequence again to see if it turns off. If it doesn't turn off, then you've found the discrete ON and can start over again with the TV on, looking for the discrete OFF.

There are only 256 possible advanced codes to try, and although it may seem tedious, it will only take 10-15 minutes if your fingers are nimble.

Once you've found a code number that does something on your TV, WRITE IT DOWN. You don't want to have to try all 256 codes again. ;-(

Well, thanks. I got through 000 to 130 then pooped out. I'll keep going.
