Hi everyone, this is my first message in this forum. I have a One For All A/V Producer 8, and am having trouble getting it to power on/off my Sony CD player, model # CDP-CE275. This model does not come with a remote (thus learning is out) but it is remote controllable. And my A/V 8 will control all functions except the power.
Anyone have any ideas.
Thanks!

Some Sony CD players don't have a power buttons, and since yours doesn't even have remote, I suspect this is one of them. Just connect it to the switched outlet of your receiver, when the receiver comes on so does the CD player.

My Sony CD player is not able to be powered on or off by the remote, and I don't have a powered outlet on my stereo receiver, so I've used an X10 box to control the power.
