Hi, just looking for the DVD code for a Samsung DVD V2000 DVD/VCR combo player. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Samsung's dvd code is 0573.

Tried 0573 but it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

The official UEI code is DVD-0820, if your remote doesn't have that you can use VCR-0432 which many remotes have. Email me if you'd like the synth codes for this.

First off, you need to specify which remote you have, then when responding that a code "doesn't work" you need to clarify if you mean that (a) the code is not present in the remote or (b) it is present but it doesn't control your device.

I have the same Samsung unit and use the 9800/Home Producer. None of the codes listed here work for the DVD player, nor did I find one in a code search. I have a JVC S-VHS as my main VCR, so can't use the Samsung code for the VCR button. And with this remote you can't program just any device on the AUX1 button.
Anyone else have any other solutions?

Edmund: Thanks. Mapping it as VCR2 with code 432 worked. I can control both functions (DVD and VCR), and can switch the unit's mode from DVD to VCR, but can't switch from VCR to DVD mode. Also, I can't get the VCR's menu up to set time, etc. So, it's a bit wonky, but there is some functionality there.

Hey Leafs, I have just added the DVD/0820 codes to the advanced code section of my site, so you should be able to fill in the blanks as far as your code goes. Here are the two codes that appear to switch between VCR and DVD modes... 360 DVD 341 VCR Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com

Thanks... I had programmed one of the learning keys to switch to DVD mode. It's not a great solution, so I'll look at the information on your website.
