I just bought a Cinema 6 IQ because I had heard that it would control my girlfriends Dishplayer (7120). I tried the code 1005 but it won't seem to accept it. So I assume I have to get it to learn to control it. How exactly do I do this? Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

I believe the 1005 device code is only available to "upgradeable" One For All remotes such as the Home Producer 8. However, you can use the learning feature to assign all of the buttons. See my FAQ for further info. [Link: ampersand.hypermart.net]
