It seems my Cinema 7 has limited functionality for one of my VCRs. I set about finding my missing functions by using the MAGIC key. MAGIC 000 to MAGIC 255! I found some extra functions but what surprised me was that some keys, which brought up menus etc, did NOT show up in my list from 000-255!
Does anyone know how to extract the device code AND advanced code for a particular button?

Good question, Paul. I've been interested in how to get a key to give up it's code too. I don't really know what I'd do with it, though, and that is why ONE4ALL probably didn't think they needed to provide that function. If the function is already in the key, then it can be remapped if that's what you want.
When I went the the 001 to 256 list I often miskeyed a sequence. It could be that the codes you didn't find were just missed by miskeying.
Anyway, If you figure out a way, post it here!

I know this is not what you are looking for but this my help anyone find codes that they don't have. It's sort of changed for use with a Houselinc but I think most can figure out how to use with a O.F.A. remote. Hope it helps someone, Xtremist [Link: smartlinc.com]
