I think i know the answer to this question but like to confirm it.
I like to program my Producer 8 UHF/IR remote to turn off/dim the lamp in my room. I have firecracker kit and it comes with the remote which i don't like.

Can i use my URC8090 remote to control the on/off & dimming features by using firecracker kit.
Thanks

No, you can't... you need to purchase an IR-to-X10 transcever such as the IR543 (aka "4040"). The firecracker kit is only of use to your computer or RF remote (the RF used on the 8090 cannot be used with the RF-to-X10 transcever the kit includes).
