For some reason, Scientific Atlanta put three copies of each signal in the code-space...

Interesting! I wonder if any of these codes are what is used to reprogram the cable box to descramble different channels.
It's worth a thought. Let me know what else you come up with. >:)
BTW, if you convert the EFCs to OBCs, you'll find that the lower 6 bits are the same for a given button in all three sets.
