I have reviewed the [Link: hifi-remote.com] site and found the 3 digit codes for a Mits RPTV.

wondering if somone could confirm the mits input 3 digits codes and fill-in blanks for the component video 1 and 2.

Looking for Mits RPTV 3 digit discrete codes (ecf).

Input 1
Input 2
Input 3
Input 4
Component 1
Component 2
DTV

Thanks,
David

If you have a WS model Mits, you can learn the discretes from the Mits remote. Do the following to set up your Mits remote:

Set the Slide Switch at the top of the Mitsubishi Remote to TV.
Press and hold the POWER button, and while holding the power button enter 090.

Now the remote functions like this:

Power - Power On Only
Stop - Power Off Only
Pause - AV Reset

Pressing INPUT followed by:
PIP - DTV
1 - Input 1
2 - Input 2
3 - Input 3
4 - Input 4
5 - DVD / Component 1
6 - Component 2
SQV - Input STB
QV - Input VGA
PIP CH Up - Antenna A
PIP CH Down - Antenna B

Learn the input commands to your MX-500 remote.
When done, press and hold POWER button and enter code 000 on your Mits remote to return to its normal functioning mode.

That is a great find!! Do you have any other Mits commands like screen format? How did you learn about the remote?

Thanks again, you're a savior!!

Thanks David,

Glad that helped, but I can't take credit for it. It was posted some time ago by someone who got it from Mitsubishi. Unfortunately, there are no known discretes for screen format.

If you haven't already been there, no one with a Mits widescreen should miss out on the wealth of information on www.hometheaterspot.com. It's the authority on making your Mits widescreen all it can be.

Enjoy,

Mike
