Err...do ANY of the buttons work when you use device code 0269 or did you just assume that that device code was correct?

I've got a marantz sr-5000 that these codes work to. Unfortunately, I don't see anything listed in there for specific inputs such as "VCR1", "TV" etc... That's was what I was looking for also to program my macros on the URC-9800. Sometimes it's useful to have everything available and you might want something else later and the codes are here. If you should find out the codes for the specific AMP inputs, Please E-mail me.
Good Luck.

OK, when I use code 0269, I can use some of the buttons ie. power, surround sound modes I can live without all other fancy functions but I should be able to select input (TV,VCR1,CD...) shouldn't I? I am thinking about buying a Cinema7 with learning cap. instead, so I can train it to control the input selection, what do you think? Any solution? Thanks for all the help

Why don't you try scanning for the advanced code yourself. Start at 255 and work down til 000. You'd be surprised how quickly you can find an advanced code on your own. [Link: ampersand.hypermart.net]
