Anyone played with this one yet? I am using 0000 which works for most functions but I am looking for Jog.
The published codes do not work

Unfortunately (and incredibly)the supplied remote does not have this feature so I can't learn it. The only way to cue up the next CD is to use the Jog wheel on the front panel.

Thanks

Doesn't your remote have "Disc +" and "Disc -" buttons? (ie. Next Disc, Previous Disc) This is what my remote has for my CDP-200CX. I'm not sure if any of the Sony models have a built-in jog shuttle on the remote for CD players. If you want to access a CD that's further down than a couple of discs, you can always use the "Disc" button where you can enter in the exact disc number.

This is a long shot, but I have a Sony VCR with a
jog shuttle on the console, but none on the
remote, and I did an exhaustive search for
advanced codes, and found, among other things,
the codes for the jog shuttle:

Jog/Shuttle dial clockwise = 104
Jog/Shuttle dial counterclockwise = 100

It's a long shot, but Sony's better than most
about using the same advanced codes from device
to device, so it might be worth a shot. Let me
know if it works.

I'll say this: It's very doubtful that a function
existed that cannot be remote activated somehow.

Thanks for the suggestions but 100 & 104 did not work.

To clarify what I want to do:
Of course, I can go to the next CD or even CD # 247 but that happens immediately.
The CX300 allows me to title each CD, so I can use the jog wheel to browse all 300 CD's WHILE A CD IS PLAYING - just like a juke box.
It's the largest control on the box and prominently featured in Sony's print material so I am amazed that it's functionality is not on their remote!

Well, have you tried all the advanced codes, 000
to 255? Assuming you can try one every 4
seconds, which isn't unreasonable, it should only
take you about 17 minutes to try them all, and
the shuttle controls almost have to be in there
somewhere.
