Hi. My DVD is on Aux1 and my receiver is on Aux2. I'd like to be able to control my receivers volume when I'm on DVD(Aux1), but when I use the volume it controls my TV's volume. I've got the 15-1994. Just seems like a pain to have to keep switching between the aux1 and aux2 buttons to change receiver volume and DVD menu's. Anyone have a solution?

Jim,

This is a known bug with the 15-1994. Read how to work around it in my FAQ:

Use the 994 sequence to copy your receiver's volume and mute buttons to the DVD(aux1) device.

AUX1
SETUP (two blinks)
994
RCVR
VOLup
VOLup
SETUP (two blinks)
994
RCVR
VOLdn
VOLdn
SETUP (two blinks)
994
RCVR
MUTE
MUTE

That should do it. On a Radio shack remote the SETUP button may be called something else. I don't own one.

I believe the setup button on a
15-1994 is called the P button.

Excellent David B. Your step-by-step proceedures worked like a charm. I still don't have a great grasp of this remote yet and seeing the direction laid out like that is great. Thanks for your help.
