Need help finding any codes that will work with the Kenwood VR-309 Receiver. None of the codes I've found so far work.

Unsuccessfully Tried: 0027,0186,0042,0077,0313,0314,0569,0645,0297,0356

Using the RS15-1994 and have reviewed other thread with no success. Please let me know if you have any thoughts.

Thanks

Have you found any device codes in which ANY of
the buttons activate ANY function of the
reciever, even if it's the wrong function for the
button?

I have a Kenwood VR307 Receiver and RS 15-1994 remote. I have seen speculation that Kenwood uses "special" high speed IR. I cannot find a code that works, but have been able to get my remote to learn most of the buttons from the original remote. Problem is that I've used up all of the remote's memory doing this. Anyone have a code for the receiver or alternate suggestion?

I found these key codes to work on URC 8800 using the key mover and the Magic Key (or setup key on the URC 8800). The only key I could not find is Video 3. I am still looking.

Hi everybody,

I'm presently experimenting some problem to control my VR-309 with the cinema-6. I don't find the best code yet. I'll send an e-mail to one-for-all and i'll let you know their response. If anybody have a better idea, please let me know. I'm a novice in that kind of thing, so any hints will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a Cinema 7 IQ which will control ANY function on my Kenwood VR-309. I used code 0313 and the advanced codes found on the net. I also had to learn a couple of the discrete source buttons only because the advanced codes would change the audio input, but it wouldn't switch the video input.

I just got off the phone with one-for-all, and they told me to try either of these for video 3. I'm at work, so if someone else could try and see if they work, I'd appreciate it:

Device Code 027
Advanced Code 382

Device Code 027
Advanced Code 575

Just FYI, here's a breakdown of the real Kenwood device codes and their OFA equivelents:

CD/0028 & AMP/0027 = Kenwood 184
AMP/0313 = Kenwood 184.0
AMP/0314 = Kenwood 184.1

The code for the missing VIDEO 3 button comes from Kenwood device 184.3, I'm not aware of an OFA device that matches that. If one is found, the advanced code will be 248

Rob.
