Does anyone out there know where to get a complete list of advanced codes for the Home Producer 8? I have filled out the request form at least 6 times on OneForAll's site and they never get back to me.
I was hoping that someone might have a site where all of the codes are posted.

ALL the codes? No. Several of the codes? Yes,
assuming it uses the same advanced codes as the
Cinema 7. Try www.starbase314.com and maybe
they'll have some of what you're looking for.

Bob,
OFA support is the pits! I also filled out the request form twice and called three times for them to email me the advanced codes, and still nothing! I like the remote but their customer service is terrible! Out of five phone calls to them 2 different support folks gave me totally wrong answers, and two never followed up promises.

That's too bad. I don't think that the Cinema 7's codes work on the Home Producer 8 and I agree with flashback that their customer support is the pits. I guess I'll just have to shell out the bucks an buy a Pronto.

I've always had good experience with OFA's customer service. They've gotten me the codes as I've replaced my DVD player a couple of times, and upgraded my unit when a DVD player was not compatible with an older Producer 8. Drop them another e-mail, sometimes it takes a while. I think there's only one person doing support, have patience, and be persistent.

Phil,
That's not what an OFA support person told me. She stated that they have around 50 people working in it. Maybe they're farming it out to another company to do the support? These people are a wealth of misinformation!

If there are a lot of people like us that want advanced codes to use with their products, it seems to me that all they would have to do is publish the codes on their web site and be done with it. One single person could handle the entire job. As new device codes are found, that one person's job would be to update the web site's info. It seems ridiculous to make customers email them one at a time to get codes for a few products and then annoy the hell out of them by not answering the email! Phil, I have requested codes from them on at least 15 occasions over the last 3 months and have never heard back from them even once!! Why do you think I am posting here? It's because I can't get any help from them.

BTW, that is 6 times for the Home Producer 8 and 9 times for the Cinema 7. At first I thought they were ignoring me because I had bought the cheap unit and didn't want me to have the advanced codes, so I bought the Home Producer 8 figuring that they would DEFINATELY support that unit....WRONG!!!

Well, I bought my P8 today and and rushed home to set everything up. The "remote extender" or whatever it is called doesn't work at all. The button backlighting for the remote doesn't work, and the FF button doesn't work for any VCR programmed. I'm taking this piece of junk back. What a joke.
