I have a number of different remotes: One For All 4 in 1, Radio Shack 6 in 1 (15-1925); and older Radio Shack 6 in 1 (can no longer read number...has TV, Cable, VCR, Aux1, Aux2, and a single led on top). I am trying to find the universal codes for a Viewmaster 4000 Cable Box. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (By the way, if you have the code for the Sony RM-V18A and/or a Toshiba VC-608, that would really help as well.)

I don't know if this code is in the old remotes you mention, but using the 15-1994 remote you can use CBL/0883 to control the Viewmaster 4000.

Thanks, but the 15-1925 uses 3-digit codes so the 0883 code won't work. I tried to find "similar" codes in the 15-1994 chart but, alas, that didn't pan out either.

By the way, are you aware that the 15-1925 is upgradeable over the telephone? There is a number you can call (during normal business hours), and if they have an upgrade for the device they will play an audio file over the phone. The remote has a modem internally to receive the upgrade. You should call and see if they have an upgrade for the viewmaster. Ask for code CBL/883.

By the way, I'm not even sure what a Viewmaster is. I thought it was one of those things with discs that showed slides in 3d!

It's one of those "universal" cable boxes, like the ones mentioned in my "off brand cable boxes" thread over at AVS.
