I've had a URC-8090 for several years now and had loved the ability to control the stereo system from a different room.
Recently, however, the controller portion of the unit failed (the part that turns the RF signals into IR signals.)
Does anyone know who will sell me just that part? One-For-All said to try a retailer and Smarthome Automation said they wouldn't

Many of these remotes have sold recently on Ebay at good prices. The seller is a reseller of returned merchandise from a large electronics retailer, and he makes no warranty but sells "as is", but everything I've bought from him has worked. You can probably pick up a remote & controller for less than the price of a replacement controller.
