I got my RS 15-1994 all set up for TV, VCR, receiver
and DVD player. then I found some info on setting
up a macro. I created a macro that will turn on
my receiver and dvd player whenever I hit the
power button on Aux1 or Aux2. everything worked fine till I tried turning on the power to my TV or VCR.
I tried re-entering the TV and VCR codes but the
power button still does not work.

is the problem related to the macro I set up?
anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Macro's are not tied to a particular device, they operate in all modes, so if you placed the power macro on the power button, then when you hit the power button in any device mode it will operate the power macro.

To clear out the macro and any other programming that you might have done trying to fix it, use the 980 reset command.

Then I would suggest either putting the macro on one of the four smart keys or maybe on shift/POWER

Check out my site for lots more info and tips.
