Hi folks, I am new here.

After reading these forums at Remote Central I have decided on one of the above remotes. The equipment I want to control are as follows:
1.RCA DTC-100 HD Sat.receiver.
2.Toshiba 55H70 HD TV.
3.Pioneer D509S AV receiver.
4.RCA standard HI-FI VCR.
5.Panasonic DVD-CV50U DVD changer.

Will the RCA-RCU-810 remote work with less effort on my part and also require less memory use on items #1 and #4??
OR will the RS15-1994 be better overall considering I am new at this game??

They are both great remotes. Your best bet would be to buy them and test them out. Make sure you can get a full money back refund. I suggest this since it's probably the quickest way to find out which one works best with your equipment and which one you like best (look and feel). I personally prefer the button layout and cheaper price of the 1994 over the 810, however, the 1994 doesn't have good support for my H/K Receiver or Mits. VCR... the 810 does, hence my decision to keep the 810.
...and the 810 is easier to program since it has an informatice LCD, but, it doesn't support volume punch-through, but you can teach the volume and mute buttons for all devices and it learns on all keys, but the VDR buttons are better on the 1994... see what I'm getting at? You really need to use them both in your environment for a week or so to make a decision you'll be happy with.
Do some tests and good luck.
