Can anyone please supply me with the device code for the Cinema 7 (URC-7800) for my Phillips DirecTV/Tivo receiver?

It is not in the ROM library of devices in your URC-7800. It can be added to your remote if you're willing to disassemble the remote and add a connector, then build the homemade interface to a PC that's described at: [Link: wwww.hifi-remote.com]and [Link: groups.yahoo.com]

Thanks Glenn. I think I will simply "learn" all the remote's functions into the URC-7800 rather than the "hacking" approach (seems complicated). Is there any disadvantage to doing so?
