Hello,

I recently purchased the Cinema 7 after reading all the good reviews about it on the web and here. I am trying to control my Kenwood 1090VR receiver, and have had good luck with the AMP 0313 code.

However, I am still not able to access the dual-room function of my receiver. I have tried using the AMP 0314 device on my "AUX" button, and then using the 577 advanced code (which is entitled "room") from the code list @ [Link: starbase314.com] but my receiver won't respond to anything on the 0314 device except, for some reason, tuner presets up/down.

I can't learn the function because I was sent the wrong remote with my Kenwood receiver (the 805 instead of the 905) -- and it doesn't have the dual-room function on it.

So what can I do? I want to avoid buying the 905 remote from Kenwood just to learn a single function from it...

Thanks,

Boris

ps Is there an advanced code for function shift? Perhaps I can use that, and then press enter, as the manual indicates to switch to room b.
