Please help!

I just purchased the RS 15-1994 and I have been able to find and punch in the codes for all my devices except for one (HK signature 2.0 Preamp). I assume the Amp codes would be the most likely codes, but none of them work. Also, where do you assign this code when I find it. The manual leaves a lot to be desired and I am assuming (once again) that I would use one of the AUX designations. Please be patient with me if my questions seem somewhat basic because I am completely new to this subject matter.

See

for an improved manual.

Radio Shack omitted some codes from the UEIC library to accomodate their Optimus devices. Your HK Pre-amp may be one of them. The site I mentioned above has very useful information including a table of devices supported by the 15-1994 and its sisters.

Obligatory plug: You can add device codes to your 15-1994 using a homemade interface. See:

Thanks Glenn,

I did a quick preview of that site last night, but was unable to find what I was looking for. I will take a more in depth look when I get home later.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my questions.

Regards

Delroy
