I have been trying to create macro for my Sony TV that turns closed captioning on and off - to do this you use the remote's Menu key - when I try to create a macro and am entering the keys - when I hit the Menu key nothing happens -- is there a reason for this?

this is true for both the Radio Shack 15-1994 and
Cinema 6 -

I have created other macros and they are fine

looked for Advance code for these functions - can't find ---Ideas? thanks

I don't see one for CC on. Maybe you will. I don't know what SRS is. Menu is code 258 according to this list.
