I have a RS 15-1994 and a OFA 5650 (non learning)
Is it possible to program the fav.ch. feature found
in the 15-1994 into the 5650? I already tried the
996 key code explained in the RS manual. Does OFA
use a different code or is it just not possible in
this particular unit?

It appears the 'Favorite Channel' scan feature is specific to the RS 15-1994. See the discussion of differences betwenn the RS and the Cinema 7 at [Link: hifi-remote.com] on the hifi-remote web site.
