Until I hear from OFA give me any advice on program codes. I have the learning Cinema 7 and it's manual only had one Echostar code. When I went to their website they had a few more listed. I tried them all, but none worked. I'm looking forward to tweaking all the fineries into the remote for the rest of my system, but if the Dishplayer doesn't have a code supported, I will reluctantly have to return the unit.

Thanks in advance.

Update to prior comment:

Called OFA they said two significant things.
One, Dishplayer not supported, must be learned.
Two, Anything learned cannot be put in a macro.

So there you have it... no total system off/on macros for devices without setup codes.

DishPlayerCodes

Device "1005.
Advanced:
528:GO,
268 Listings,
336 Recent,
400 home,
720 Options,
369 Scroll dwn,
588 Info,
492 PIP,
497 Scroll UP,

Other codes listed seem to work once you have the code 1005 upgraded in the remote. But here they are in case they arent working for you.

435 Channel dwn,
526 Channel up,
465, Down,
305 Select
657 Left, 594 Power,
364 Recall,
273 Right,
593 UP,
563 View.

I figured the following codes :
302 30 sec ff,
336 recent,
366 FF,
398 Pause,
334 7 sec instant replay.

So I have the ptv services working except for RW. Still trying to figure that one. Will post when available or someone please post if anyone figures out."

I guess I better put in a call to OFA.

Currently my DishPlayer is the only thing that I don't have programmed on my Cinema 7. Unfortunately, the thing will not learn (another thread) so I am interested in getting the device code 1005 to work.
What do I have to do to get my 7800 to accept the 1005 code - or will it simply not?

Thanks much,
John

John -> Unfortunately the Cinema 7 IQ cannot be upgraded to accept the 1005 code. You will have to learn the Dishplayer codes into the remote. If you're in the same boat I am in ther is no way that will work since I had to learn a bunch of codes for my receiver and I am almost out of memory. I guess it's time to start looking at the Pronto.

Thanks Tim.

Unfortunately, my cinema 7 won't learn anything at all (stupid learning remote :)

I feel like a frustrated parent. I'm about to sink another $30 to get one that works. (No receipt)
