I have an old C7 that I dug out the other day to try and program something on. All the digit buttons work (the red LED lights up) when I press them in normal use... but when I go into "setting up a device mode" some of the digit keys don't function. Specifically the "1" digit and I believe the "7" digit. In other words, if I'm trying to setup a device with a lookup code of 0101, and I press/hold SETUP until it flashes twice, I can then press the "0" digit and the red LED flashes, but when I press "1" the red LED doesn't flash. I can press other buttons (in setup mode) and the red LEDs flash, and then I get a double-flash at the end to know it worked. But a couple digits just will not work in Setup mode, but they DO work in other modes.
I tried the 980 reset and that didn't help. Any other advice? Is there a different master reset code?
