Macro for Toshiba "squeeze trick"

For those of you who don't know, the squeeze trick is the method of chaning your TV's raster (height) settings to allow setting your DVD player to 16:9 and making your TV's geometry match to gain all the resolution an anamorphic DVD has to offer.

I can't get a macro fine tuned enough to change the HIT setting consistently. On my set, I squeeze by changing the setting from 6BH to 4CH; I can hold the button or press once for each increment.
The problem is the macro's bursts of IR seem to be time inconsistently so one time I overshoot 4CH, another time I undershoot.

What I did was set up macros for everything BUT changing the HIT setting which I do manually. Does anyone have another solution?
