I'm new to universal remotes. Regarding the AllForOne Cinema7 URC-7800: I bought it, I programmed it to do all of my other equipment, I like it, and I want to see if it can do more. Can this model# control a Philips 14-hour standalone TiVo recorder? I have a few spare device keys and I have used very few of the learning keys. If I were to lose a few of the lesser used TiVo function keys, that would be OK. IF this can be done, where should I start, and where might I find additional information to help me (a patient beginner) along? Thanks for any advice!

I am also trying to get a few basic Tivo functions into my Cinema 7. Since no one has responded to this thread, I'll ask too, Does anyone know what device type and device code would be correct to control the Phillips 14 hour Tivo model? Thanks

The Cinema 7 was made before TiVo or Replay were even invented, so there's no codes in the remote to work these devices. Your only immediate option is to learn all the TiVo finctions, people have reported being able to learn as many as 30 buttons before the memory limit is reached.

The more advanced users should check into building a JP1 interface and adding the code.
