Is this possible:

1. Point my Yamaha remote at my Cinema 6 (6800L)
2. "Learn" a few of the Yamaha commands into my Cinema 6 1L/2L/3L/4L buttons
3. Copy the 1L/2L/3L/4L buttons to one of the Cinema 6 arrow buttons

Or better yet, can I send a command from my Yamaha remote and learn it directly into any button on my Cinema 6 (6800L)?

I've read all the FAQ's but I can't find a direct answer to my question.

Thanks,
Sal

My Cinema 7 will learn on any button not just the 4 learning buttons. Give it a try on your Cinema 6, it is the eaxact same procedure as if it were a learning button. If it works - it works!

Jim is right. There's no need to learn, then move, since you can learn directly to the key you want the command on.

No, it doesn't say that in the manual. There is TONS of info about these great remotes not covered or incorrect in the manual.
