I've searched like crazy for this without any luck, just wondering if anyone knows it. I know 001 accesses the "time/set" command, but I'm looking specifically for an advanced code for "Set Menu".

I've found it! It's 252 if anyone else out there needs it.

Now, does anyone know what the advanced codes for + and - are? These are the buttons on the remote that you use once you've changed to a setup area and decide to change the parameters for that area. For example, you use 252 to toggle through front speaker size, rear speaker size ..etc then + and - to choose "large", "med" or "small". I'm looking for the advanced codes for "+" and "-".

I found 4 PDF files on the Yamaha site. Does anyone know how to decipher this? Here's an example of what they look like:

Did you ever decipher the codes from the Yamaha .pdf files? And does Ryan's response somehow relate to these codes?

Rob, if your out there, we could use your help. I have a Yamaha RX-V795A without the original remote. I am trying to configure my RS 15-1994 to operate the receiver. I have had success with code 0176, altho most of the buttons did not respond - all the advance codes I got from Rob's site work.

I am also looking for codes to operate the tuner functionality of the receiver. Do I require a new code on a new button, similar to Sony or Pioneer? If so, what is the code?

On a different thread but still with Yamaha. Has anyone had problems with loud static when in the Cinema DSP modes? Whenever I select a Cinema DSP mode most of the signal is just static. The receiver works OK in stereo or Audio DSP but not when the center channel is active. Do I have a bad center channel amp?
